Data deletion
Last updated 10 Sep 2026
How to remove data from Rundown, and what happens when you do.
Creators: disconnect a platform
Sign in, open your connect page and choose Disconnect on the platform. We delete the access token for that platform immediately and stop reading new numbers. The numbers already read stay visible to your agency until you or your agency remove you from the roster.
Creators: delete your account
Sign in and choose “Delete your Rundown account” under the platforms on your connect page. You can also write to privacy@rundown.ch from the email address you signed in with, or ask your agency to remove you from its roster. Either way we delete your sign-in, your access tokens, your connections and every number we read from your platforms. Documents your agency created from those numbers before that date are the agency’s own records and stay with the agency.
Agency members: delete your account
Sign in, open Your account and choose “Delete your account”. You can also ask an administrator of your agency to remove you, or write to privacy@rundown.ch. We delete your sign-in and your membership. The agency’s activity record keeps the fact that you invited or changed something, because it is the agency’s record, not yours.
Revoking access at the platform
You can also withdraw Rundown’s permission on the platform itself: at Google account permissions for YouTube, under Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites, under TikTok → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions, and under Twitch → Settings → Connections. Our next attempt to read then fails and the platform shows as needing reconnection until you disconnect it or reconnect.
When it is gone
Deletions take effect in the live service immediately. Copies in backups are not edited; they expire with the backup, within 14 days. Request logs expire after 30 days.
